Habang May Buhay is the first-ever medical teleserye on Philippine television set in the dramatic setting of the medical world that mirrors life at its most intense.

Habang May Buhay revolves around the life of Jane Alcantara (played by Judy Ann Santos), a strong-willed nurse who undergoes family, career, and love challenges in the United States and in the Philippines. Our heroine’s quest for love and truth unfold in the backdrop of our very own Filipino medical cases, resonating to every Filipino who has ever had a loved one in danger.

This teleserye also marks the comeback of the “Bida-Kontrabida” tandem of Judy Ann Santos and Gladys Reyes.

Habang May Buhay boasts of a stellar cast which includes Derek Ramsay, Will Devaughn, Gladys Reyes, Rio Locsin, Joem Bascon, Angel Aquino, William Martinez, Gina Alajar, Tetchie Agbayani, John Arcilla, Michael de Mesa, Melanie Marquez, Al Tantay, Candy Pangilinan, Mickey Ferriols, Bangs Garcia, Brent Javier, Marc Abaya, Maxene Eigenmann, Ina Feleo, Ruben Gonzaga, Dominique Roque, Jessy Mendiola, Macy Garcia, Giovannie Pico, and Makisig Morales.

Directed by Wenn Deramas, Jerry Sineneng, Andoy Ranay, and Mark Meily, Habang May Buhay is set to air finally as part of ABS-CBN’s first quarter opening salvo this 2010.
